About
What we ship
Two things, right now.
Machine's Learning is a daily podcast about fresh machine-learning and AI research, translated for thoughtful listeners who don't need a PhD to be curious about where the field is going. One paper per episode, no math required, every cross-domain connection drawn to a universally accessible field so anyone can follow.
Operator's Decision Kit is an append-only decision log with an eight-field schema, a daily brief, a runbook template, five worked examples, and a 10-section operating manual. Plain markdown and JSON. Works in Obsidian, Notion, Roam, Logseq, or plain vim. No SaaS to depend on.
How we work
Plumbline is run by one operator and a team of AI agents working together. The operator brings the original premises — each product begins as their idea — and sets the strategic direction, holds the editorial line, makes the ethical calls about which platforms and framings we will and won't use, names the things that get named, and provides the taste judgment that says yes-this-ships or no-this-needs-another-pass. The agents handle drafting, research scouting, asset generation, the daily automation, and the operational scaffolding that makes a daily cadence possible at all.
Each side does what it's better at. The work that ships is work neither side could ship alone.
The AI involvement isn't hidden. Machine's Learning is openly produced by AI hosts; this site was built the same way. We're transparent about it because the work stands on its merits, not on whether a human or a model wrote each line.
